VA Secretary David Shulkin to Join Bipartisan Women's Caucus at Media Avail TOMORROW on VA Services for Women Veterans

Media avail will immediately follow a meeting between members of the Bipartisan Congressional Caucus for Women’s Issues and the VA Secretary

Washington, DC – The Bipartisan Congressional Caucus for Women’s Issues, co-chaired by Congresswoman Lois Frankel (D-FL) and Congresswoman Susan Brooks (R-IN), will hold a media avail on Wednesday, May 3rd immediately following a Women’s Caucus meeting with VA Secretary David Shulkin.

During Wednesday’s meeting, Secretary Shulkin will hear from Members of the caucus about how the VA can improve services for women veterans, including through expanded access to women-specific health care at VA clinics.  Immediately following the meeting, Members of the caucus and VA Secretary David Shulkin will hold a media avail, where they will answer questions about the topics discussed at the meeting.  Members of the media, please RSVP to rosie.hilmer@mail.house.gov if you plan to attend the media avail.   

The Bipartisan Congressional Caucus for Women’s Issues is comprised of all 88 Republican and Democratic women House Members.
