2021 Inauguration Information

Thank you for your interest in President-elect Joseph R. Biden’s inauguration.

Due to the ongoing public health crisis presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, President-elect Biden has asked that Americans celebrate this historic event from the safety of their home. In order to mitigate the potential spread of the virus, President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris will be sworn in with extremely limited attendance. After consulting with public health officials, the Presidential Inaugural Committee will not hold the traditional mass gathering on the National Mall.

Unfortunately, there will be no tickets distributed to Congressional offices to provide to the public. Instead, The Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC) will make the inauguration accessible to the American people through enhanced virtual opportunities. Click here to read the announcement from the JCCIC.

Again, thank you for expressing your interest in this important event. We regret not being able to have you attend in person this year. Please reach out if you have any further questions.
