Today, Congresswoman Lois Frankel (FL-22), a member of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, issued the following statement on the Department of Transportation’s recent approval for Ireland-based carrier Norwegian Air International to operate long-haul flights to and from the United States.

“Norwegian Air International should not be permitted to operate in the United States without assurance that it will provide better worker protections,” Frankel said.
