Since taking office, President Trump and his Administration have illegally and unconstitutionally ordered the firing of thousands of essential civil servants—hardworking Americans responsible for carrying out the programs many Americans rely on in their day-to-day lives.

Seniors who depend on Social Security to make ends meet could face longer waiting times and delays in receiving the benefits they have worked for. Patients who rely on Medicare and Medicaid for life-saving care may encounter disruptions in accessing the care they need. Veterans seeking support for health care, housing, and disability benefits could see growing processing times and delays for the services they have sacrificed for and deserve. Small businesses waiting on critical loans and grants may be left in limbo, while nonprofits serving vulnerable communities could struggle to get the assistance they need.
