2023 Congressional Art Competition
I am pleased to announce that my office will once again be participating in this year’s Congressional Art Competition. I invite all high school students of Congressional District 22 to enter! The annual competition celebrates the artistic achievements of the nation’s high school students, where the 1st place winner’s piece will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol, alongside winners from other district and states. I am very much looking forward to seeing all the talent our district possess.
Each spring, a nation-wide high school arts competition is sponsored by the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives. It is an opportunity to recognize and encourage the artistic talent in the nation, as well as in our congressional district. The Congressional Art Competition began in 1982 to provide an opportunity for members of Congress to encourage and recognize the artistic talents of their young constituents. Since then, over 650,000 high school students have been involved with the nationwide competition.
- The competition is open to all high school students in FL-22. 7th and 8th grade students may participate in the art competition if your school located in the district houses 7th through 12th grades on one campus.
