Today Congresswoman Lois Frankel (FL-22) helped pass bipartisan legislation that provides important disaster relief to areas devastated by Hurricane Sandy.

“Today Democrats and Republicans put partisanship aside and did what was right by coming together to provide urgent aid to communities devastated by Hurricane Sandy,” Congresswoman Lois Frankel said. “Passing this aid represents a big step forward because people are hurting and communities are trying to rebuild. South Florida families and businesses understand the need for immediate aid in the wake of hurricanes and this disaster shows we need a long-term, bipartisan solution for national catastrophe insurance.”
