After helping pass a bipartisan Hurricane Sandy disaster relief package today that includes resources to help victims and rebuild devastated beaches and shorelines, Congresswoman Lois Frankel (FL-22) issued the following statement:

“This is an example of Democrats and Republicans coming together to meet the needs of families and communities devastated by Hurricane Sandy,” Congresswoman Lois Frankel said. “Many Floridians, unfortunately, have experienced natural disasters and know the importance of responding quickly and ensuring that families, businesses and communities receive the assistance they need to help them recover and rebuild.”

Frankel helped pass a bipartisan bill to provide the first relief for Hurricane Sandy victims January 4.
