After the inauguration of President Barack Obama and in honor of Martin Luther King Day, Congresswoman Lois Frankel (FL-22) released the following statement.
“It is only fitting that on Inauguration Day for President Barack Obama we also honor and celebrate the life of Martin Luther King Jr. whose leadership, character, ideals and values still guide us today,” Congresswoman Lois Frankel said. “As Martin Luther King Jr. once said, ‘Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’ and his words remind us that we must recommit ourselves to putting the good of the people ahead of politics and rededicate ourselves to working together to move our country forward.”
