West Palm Beach, FL - Today, Rep. Lois Frankel (FL-21) issued the following statement after Governor DeSantis announced a plan to fully reopen Florida’s K-12 schools in Fall 2020.

“We all want our children to safely return to school so they may learn and parents can go back to work. The number of COVID-19 cases in a community and readiness should be the key factors as to whether schools should reopen. I urge the governor to provide needed leadership with mandatory requirements based on scientific evidence and CDC guidelines.”
