Today, Congresswoman Lois Frankel (FL-21) announced the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is awarding $7.4 million in grants for costs associated with Hurricane Irma in Palm Beach County. “Hurricanes wreak havoc on communities and on our local budgets,” said Rep. Frankel. “These grants will provide much needed relief to cover the cost of essential measures taken during and after Hurricane Irma, especially at a time when local government budgets are already stretched thin due to the COVID-19 pandemic.” The grant amounts are:
