Democratic Women’s Caucus Announces First Executive Director

Today, Democratic Women’s Caucus (DWC) Co-Chairs Jackie Speier (CA-14), Lois Frankel (FL-21), and Brenda Lawrence (MI-14), and Vice-Chairs Veronica Escobar (TX-16) and Deb Haaland (NM-01) announced Gabrielle Gould as the first DWC Executive Director.

“We’re excited to bring Gabrielle on to support the DWC as we continue to fight for meaningful change for women and families that is long overdue. As the new Executive Director, she will assist our diverse group of members as we work with the Biden Administration to expand and strengthen rights for women and girls that were under constant attack by the Trump Administration and crush the COVID-19 pandemic while providing critical relief to struggling American families,” said the members.

Gabrielle has devoted much of her career in public service to the empowerment of women and girls at home and abroad. She most recently served as Staff Director of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Europe, Energy, the Environment & Cyber for Chairman William R. Keating, where she managed his foreign policy agenda. She previously served in Chairman Keating’s office as his Legislative Director. Gabrielle holds a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and an undergraduate degree from Harvard University.

The DWC is comprised of all 91 Democratic Women in the House of Representatives.
