Last week: Republicans are wasting no time in their effort to give tax cuts to the richest Americans and biggest corporations. This isn’t a tax plan, it’s a tax scam that will hurt middle-class families and ransack Medicare and Medicaid. It massively increases the debt to cut taxes for the rich and corporations - leaving our children to pay the bill. The middle-class shouldn’t be paying for a giveaway to the wealthiest citizens. Democrats offer a better deal, one that invests in infrastructure, education, and innovative research, and lowers the costs of things like child care and prescription drugs.
