Frankel Appointed to House Appropriations Committee

Washington, DC – Today, Congresswoman Lois Frankel (FL-21) was appointed to the powerful House Committee on Appropriations, the body that writes the laws that direct federal funding.

Frankel’s service has well positioned her for this new assignment. As a former State Representative and Mayor of West Palm Beach, Congresswoman Frankel brings valuable insight into the needs of local and state government. Now in her fourth term, she previously served on the Foreign Affairs and Transportation and Infrastructure Committees, as well as Chairing the Democratic Women’s Working Group.
