- Location: Lantana, FL
- Amount: $1,500,000
- Purpose of funding and why it’s an appropriate use of taxpayer dollars: This funding will be used to create a new facility for 211 to meet growing demand for services. This is a valuable use of taxpayer dollars because 211 assists seniors, children, caregivers, and veterans access information on housing, health care, food assistance, foreclosure prevention, suicide prevention, and a variety of other services.

Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency
- Location: Boynton Beach, FL
- Amount: $3,375,000
- Purpose of funding and why it’s an appropriate use of taxpayer dollars: This funding will be used to replace a commercial seawall in the Boynton Harbor Marina. This is an appropriate use of taxpayer dollars because it will provide long-term mitigation of damages caused by catastrophic storm events, and erosion from waves, tides, currents, and storm surges. This will protect the 44 businesses and over 1,000 residents in close proximity to the marina.

Boys & Girls Club of Palm Beach County
- Location: Delray Beach, FL
- Amount: $3,500,000
- Purpose of funding and why it’s an appropriate use of taxpayer dollars: This project will construct a Workforce Readiness Center to provide career exploration and skills training to help propel youth out of poverty and into successful careers. This is an appropriate use of taxpayer funds because it will contribute to the economic growth of the community.

Town of Briny Breezes
- Location: Briny Breezes, FL
- Amount: $2,697,000
- Purpose of funding and why it’s an appropriate use of taxpayer dollars: A Flooding Adaptation Plan was completed in April 2021 and identified several recommendations, including installing a multi-pump drainage plan, pumping station, and discharge pipes which will help eliminate flooding of the roadways and prevent damage to personal property and homes. This is a valuable use of taxpayer funds because when homes and roadways flood, it creates more costs for the taxpayers.

City of Delray Beach - Water Repump Stations
- Location: Delray Beach, FL
- Amount: $3,000,000

This project is needed to ensure clean drinking water for the 66,000 residents of Delray Beach. It is a valuable use of taxpayer funds because the taxpayers depend on the City to provide reliable and clean drinking water.

City of Delray Beach - License Plate Reader Program
- Location: Delray Beach, FL

- Purpose of funding and why it’s an appropriate use of taxpayer dollars: The implementation of the Real Time Crime Center and the expansion of the License Plate Reader (LPR) Program will create a surveillance monitoring initiative to better observe, detect, and prevent crime throughout the city of Delray Beach through the use of cameras strategically placed throughout the city. The implementation of this project is a valuable use of taxpayer funds as it directly helps detect and prevent crime within the city, and adds a technological layer of safety to the citizens and visitors of the city.

Town of Lantana
- Location: Lantana, FL
- Amount: $3,600,000
- Purpose of funding and why it’s an appropriate use of taxpayer dollars: The funding would be used to replace old water mains in the potable water distribution system. The Town has a population of approximately 11,500 residents that depend on the municipality’s ability to provide a safe, stable, and reliable source of potable water to meet their needs. Moreover, the community has a very modest tax base with many other challenging and extensive infrastructure needs.

Palm Beach County
- Location: West Palm Beach, FL
- Amount: $2,00,000
- Purpose of funding and why it’s an appropriate use of taxpayer dollars: Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department (PBCWUD) will construct an advanced Water Purification Facility (WPF) to treat reclaimed water from its Southern Region Water Reclamation Facility (SFWRF), adding a new water source to the water supply of Palm Beach County. This project will recycle and purify water that will be used to recharge the regional aquifer and provide a sustainable source of water for nearby production wells. This is a valuable use of taxpayer funds because Palm Beach County is home to 1.5 million residents and 1.3 million annual visitors who all depend on clean drinking water.

This is a valuable use of taxpayer funds because there is a growing need for automotive technicians to refurbish the high-tech vehicles of today and tomorrow.

- Purpose of funding and why it’s an appropriate use of taxpayer dollars: This project will provide additional space for community gathering and social services for the residents of Palm Beach County to serve a growing need for housing counseling, financial literacy, job training and placement, youth development, education for seniors and veterans, and food distribution. This is an appropriate use of taxpayer dollars because it will help promote economic development in underserved parts of Palm Beach County.

City of West Palm Beach - Bomb Squad Robot
- Location: West Palm Beach, FL
- Amount: $600,000
- Purpose of funding and why it’s an appropriate use of taxpayer dollars: This funding will provide a new bomb squad robot for the City of West Palm Beach. The bomb squad robot is a primary tool to eliminate the need to introduce a technician into a hazardous scene, to identify bomb components, and to establish safe disruption procedures. The current equipment is at its end-of-life and is no longer operationally safe. This is a valuable use of taxpayer funds because the residents of West Palm Beach and millions of annual visitors need reliable bomb-detecting and dismantling equipment to live safely in their community.

City of West Palm Beach - Pedestrian Pathway
- Location: West Palm Beach, FL
- Amount: $1,200,000
- Purpose of funding and why it’s an appropriate use of taxpayer dollars: This project would add a pedestrian pathway and modify railroad crossing gates so that pedestrians can safely cross the railroad tracks. This is a valuable use of taxpayer funds because it will improve safety for pedestrians, while allowing trains to continue operating so as to not disrupt train schedules.

This new facility will work to educate teens in workforce skills and specific job training.
