The request portal for FY26 programmatic and report language requests is now open. We do not yet have a deadline, so we encourage you to submit your requests as soon as you can. Requests can be submitted here. Community Project Funding (CPF) guidance has not yet been released for FY26. As such, we are not accepting CPF applications at this time.
A programmatic request is a request for a specific dollar amount for an existing program. Some examples include:
- $10 million for the Maternal Mental Health Hotline
- $415 million for South Florida Ecosystem Restoration
- $2 million for the U.S. Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism
A report language request is language directing an agency how to spend its funding. Some examples include:
- “Remote Monitoring Devices for Pregnant Women—The Committee is concerned with the rising rates of maternal morbidity and mortality, which disproportionately impact the Medicaid population. Many indicators of potential pregnancy-related complications can be monitored remotely through devices that check for irregularities in blood glucose, oxygen saturation, and weight. The Committee directs CMS to provide Medicaid coverage recommendations and resources to states on coverage of remote physiologic devices and related services under Medicaid for pregnant and postpartum women. The Committee requests an update on these recommendations and resources within 180 days of enactment of this Act.”
- “Requirements for rental assistance—The Committee recognizes many families do not qualify for the HOME program because their combined income marginally exceeds 60 percent of the area median income. The Committee recognizes the need for affordable housing for low- and moderate-income families and encourages the Department to work with HOME grantees to leverage partnerships with other housing providers to identify income-eligible housing options for income-ineligible households and to brief the House and Senate Committees on Appropriations within one year of enactment of this Act on the extent to which partnerships and referrals can be improved.”
