Frankel Encouraged by Good Jobs News, Calls for Congress to Stay in Session to Address Unfinished Economic Business

Congresswoman Lois Frankel released the following statement about the good news that the economy gained 203,000 jobs in November, the jobless rate fell to a five-year low of 7 percent and the economy grew at 3.6 percent in the third quarter.

“This economic news is encouraging and it’s important to keep up the momentum. Congress should stay in session until we pass a budget to make sure there’s economic certainty and finalize the Water Resources Reform and Development Act to bring jobs to South Florida.”
