Rep. Frankel Announces New Child Tax Credit Tool as Third Round of Assistance Arrives

Today, Representative Lois Frankel (FL-21) announced a new simplified, bilingual, and mobile-friendly tool for parents who are eligible for the Child Tax Credit (CTC) but who have not yet received a payment or need to update their status.  GetCTC.org has been rolled out just in time for the third round of CTC payments to hit the bank accounts of American families.

Most families will receive up to $3,600 per child ages 0-5, and $3,000 per child ages 6-17. The money is being delivered in monthly installments of up to $300 per child on the 15th of every month, through the end of the calendar year, with a final lump sum of between $1,500 and $1,800.

“I’ve heard from so many parents in our community who have told me how life-changing this extra money has been. Over 2,296,000 monthly payments, totaling more than $933.5 million have been sent to families in our state, but there are still parents who have not yet gotten this critical assistance,” said Rep. Frankel. “This new tool will help us make sure that every family gets the help they need to keep their children healthy and safe during this challenging time.”

GetCTC.org includes information in English and Spanish, resources for navigators that are helping others apply, and extends the contact methods to email and text message.
