West Palm Beach, FL – Today, Congresswoman Lois Frankel (FL-21) released the following statement after former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was assassinated in Nara, Japan.
“I had the privilege of meeting with Shinzo Abe when he was Prime Minister,” said Rep. Frankel. “He was a powerful figure in Japan and a friend of our country. His assassination is sad and shocking, and yet another reminder of the tragedy of gun violence.”
