Congresswoman Lois Frankel released the following statement on the passing of Clay Shaw, former Congressman for Florida’s 22^nd Congressional District and Mayor of Fort Lauderdale:

“We have lost a great statesman for South Florida. I will always fondly remember Clay Shaw from my time as Mayor of West Palm Beach, as someone who you could work with in a bipartisan manner and as a true gentleman. My heart goes out to his family at this difficult time.”
