Frankel Appointed to Foreign Affairs Middle East Subcommittee

Congresswoman Lois Frankel (FL-22) today was appointed to the Foreign Affairs subcommittee on the Middle East and North Africa. “I look forward to taking on the complicated and urgent issues of the Middle East, with a focus on ensuring the security of Israel,” Congresswoman Lois Frankel said. Frankel will join her district neighbor Congressman Ted Deutch (FL-21), the ranking Member on the subcommittee, to address issues including: the U.S.-Israel relationship, Iran’s nuclear program, the aftermath of the Arab Spring and ongoing crisis in Syria. Frankel also serves on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
