Congresswoman Lois Frankel (FL-22) today joined 167 of her House colleagues and 44 Senators in calling on the Supreme Court to affirm marriage equality in the United States. The Supreme Court is considering four cases this summer that will decide whether the Constitution guarantees same-sex couples the freedom to marry and have their marriages recognized nationwide. “We live in a country where we cherish the right to pursue happiness. Any person, regardless of gender or sexual orientation, should be allowed to live in a committed relationship with the one they love. I urge the Supreme Court to remain on the right side of history and uphold the rights of all Americans by supporting marriage equality,” said Frankel. ### |
