Rep. Frankel Holds Coronavirus Telephone Town Hall with Local Leaders, Health Experts

West Palm Beach, FL – Yesterday, Congresswoman Lois Frankel (FL-21) held a telephone town hall with local leaders and health experts to discuss the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the Palm Beach County community. Rep. Frankel was joined by Florida Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried, former Health and Human Services Secretary Congresswoman Donna Shalala, Director of the Palm Beach County Health Department Dr. Alina Alonso, Dr. Martha Rodriquez, Palm Beach County School Board member Karen Brill, and Assistant County Administrator for Palm Beach County Todd Bonlarron.

“During this pandemic, it’s important that the public has as much information as possible to help keep them healthy and economically secure,” said Rep. Frankel.

Over 5,000 constituents joined last night’s call. Rep. Frankel and her guests answered a variety of questions on what people can do to keep themselves and their loved ones healthy, slow the spread of the coronavirus, and access resources for unemployed Floridians and small businesses who are facing financial distress.
