West Palm Beach, FL – Today, Congresswoman Lois Frankel (FL-21) released the following statement after she voted to pass the Protecting Our Kids Act to address the rampant gun violence across America. “Guns are the number one killer of children in America—more than car accidents or cancer—it’s horrendous but preventable,” said Rep. Frankel. “No parent should fear for their child’s life when their child goes to school, the grocery store, their church, a movie theater, or anywhere else they are supposed to be safe. This legislation enacts sensible policies to keep our children away from the deadly fire of gun violence.
