Congresswoman Lois Frankel released the following statement in honor of Veterans Day, observed Friday, November 11.

“On Veterans Day, we honor those who have served us to keep our nation secure and to protect our liberties. I thank their families for their support for their loved ones. As a proud mother of a U.S. marine war veteran, I understand the selfless sacrifices our men and women in uniform are willing to make. It’s a privilege to continue advocating for the healthcare,  benefits, and education our veterans deserve when they return home. Our veterans have stood up for us. Now it is our turn to stand up for them.”
